Abstract Art is my passion

From my earliest memories on the beaches of Rockaway, NY at the tender age of two, I can remember the thrill and the desire to create.

Building sandcastles led to crayon creations, art classes in high school and college, and later a constant presence in my life as I became a mother of two and teacher of adolescents and teenagers. English was my subject and in my lesson plans I found myself integrating the arts into our study of poetry, literature, and writing. This led me to pursue and complete a Master’s degree in Teaching Through the Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.

Living on Cape Cod has been a continual source of inspiration for my art: the sea, the sky, the light. Upon retirement I have devoted all of my studio time to developing a style of my own that I like to refer to as Cape Cod Abstractions … I am a lover of color and birds and flowers and skies and integrate all of that with my passion for music and joy to create art to feed your soul.
